At night different animals come out to feed and corals extend to catch plankton, so the reef looks quite different from the same site by day.
The dive is a single guided descent from the boat. You need to be a certified diver, and comfortable in the water, before diving in the dark. Tanks, weights and the guide are included; torches are available to hire if you do not bring your own.

- For certified divers.
- All divers complete a medical checklist. Asthma, heart conditions, diabetes or pregnancy need a recent doctor's letter.
- Leave 12 hours after a single dive, and 18 hours after repeat or multi-day diving, before flying.
