Pulaki, Melanting and the coastal temples
Culture3 hoursEasyPemuteran, Pulaki

The north-west coast is lined with temples. Pulaki, known for the macaques that live around it, Melanting, Belatung and Pabean each honour a different deity, and each has its own story.
A guide explains what you are seeing and how the temples are used. A sarong is required at every temple and is provided, along with an offering. Most temples ask for a small donation or entrance fee, paid on the day.
